Meet Renato
Based in Lancaster, I bring my experience as an Italian chef to street food inspired by the flavours of Italy. From homemade arancini and lasagna to Italian loaded fries and tiramisu, every dish reflects my love of good food and sharing it with people
My Story
I’m Renato, an Italian chef and the founder of Renato’s Italian Street Food. My love of cooking has travelled with me through years of living and working in different places, with Italian flavours always at the heart of what I do.
During my time working in a pizzeria in Chester, I prepared traditional dishes including frittatine, potato croquettes and tiramisu. Running the kitchen taught me the importance of care, consistency and making every plate something people look forward to eating.
Today, I put that experience into my own street food business, based in Lancaster. My menu brings together comforting Italian classics and my own take on loaded fries, using ingredients and flavours inspired by different regions of Italy.
Whether I’m serving at a market, a festival or a private celebration, my aim is simple: freshly prepared food, a warm welcome and something worth coming back for.
Made Fresh
From homemade arancini to our signature Italian loaded fries, we prepare our food with care, bringing together quality ingredients and flavours from across Italy.
Served With Care

ABOUT ME
My name is Renato, an Italian chef with a deep passion for authentic food and traditional flavours.
This passion led me to the UK, where I have continued to grow and refine my skills.
My most recent experience was in a prestigious pizzeria in Chester, known for its award-winning Neapolitan style under the guidance of Giacomo Guido. During this journey, I worked on a variety of traditional preparations including frittatine, potato croquettes and tiramisu, always focusing on quality, consistency and authentic taste.
One of the highlights was the development of the Frittatina Amatriciana, a dish that quickly became very popular among local customers and food influencers.
Today, I am starting a new chapter in Lancaster, bringing with me the true taste of Naples, my experience, and my passion — ready to share authentic Neapolitan street food with a new community.
